Worship outlines provide clergy and lay readers with hymns, psalms, Scripture lesson introductions, Scripture passages, and collects which are the counterpart of the motif of the classroom for the same Sunday. Each of these services can be held according to the usual Sunday schedule.
The materials provided in With Our Whole Being simply take the place of the hymns, collects, etc. The lessons are written with the assumption that the worship service will precede the education time, but the order can be reversed. Congregations then follow their worship with classes, either in age groups or in family groups.
The course can be used in a 14-week terms, covering just the sacraments, or for the whole school year. All instructors and students use the same book.
