HISTORY II: THE MARCH OF ANGLICANISM The history of the Anglican Church in England and in North America
AGES: 12 +
Best used after the basics of the Christian faith have been taught (Triumph of the Faith is a good course for this) this course in Church History is a good place to go.
As in History I, the course is divided into subjects instead of sessions and could be used for more than one year.
Part 1 begins with "Early History of Briton" and covers material through the Norman Invasion.
Part 2 covers the period from William the Conqueror through Oxford Movement.
Part 3 begins with the Church in Virginia and discusses events through the Lambeth Quadrilateral.
The Teacher's Manual includes review questions and answers.
The Student Materials for this course include both the Student's text and a timeline booklet entitled Two Thousand Years.
